Keeping up with home improvement can be a simple or incredibly difficult task, depending on how much work needs to be done. With technology constantly evolving, you can research your home improvement tasks on the go. There are several iPhone applications that can be downloaded at a fairly reasonable cost. Here are a list of apps to assist you in enhancing your household.

ColorSnap

ColorSnap is an application run by Sherwin Williams. It’s very handy if you’re trying to find a new color theme for painting your walls. Painting a room or your entire house can be overwhelming because you want the perfect colors that will compliment your house. This app allows you to take a photo, and it creates a color scheme for you. You can bring this color scheme to the nearest Sherwin Williams dealer and pick your paint up. It’s a free app, so it doesn’t hurt to try it out. What’s the drawback? It doesn’t do the painting for you.

Remodelista

Remodlista is a great app for remodeling your home. If you’re looking to redecorate, but can’t afford an interior designer, this is a must-have app. It’s incredibly visual and provides you with several detailed images of  living spaces and the products in them. It tells you where to buy the items or similar ones. It even has a feature to buy some of the products directly off the app. Again, it may not do the decorating for you, but it can help inspire your renewed living space. At the small cost of $2.99, you can’t go wrong with that.

Pinterest

Pinterest is full of so many do it yourself projects. Several of these projects are on how to improve your living spaces. The possibilities of Pinterest are endless. You can even document your own progress and get feedback from other members. The best part about Pinterest is that it’s free. Just be careful, you can spend hours on Pinterst and not even realize it.
